Water Ecology & Hike to Lookout Tower
We had a fun-filled day of learning and hiking. Dr. Stocker joined us at camp today, and hiked up to the lookout tower. We became “Mad Water Scientists” this morning and looked at the health of the Snoqualmie River. The students concluded that the river is quite healthy. We are gearing up for our last night at camp with our Skits and Songs and final campfire. We wrap it all up in the morning and will be back at school around 12:30.
Cedar River Watershed Field Trip… And More
We spent the afternoon on a field trip to the Cedar River Watershed. We had a lot of fun learning what a watershed is, and how it brings water to our homes.
Camp Waskowitz, Day 2, 2016
After every meal, students work to clean up the Dining Hall. This morning we spent time in the Adaptation Rooms learning about Tracks, Skulls, and Pelts. After learning about the animals, we played a game called Predator vs. Prey. Students worked hard to stay “alive” in our ecosystem.
New Classroom Pictures
I took a few pictures with the chairs down so you can get a better view. Come by to see us sometime.
