Mrs. Panesko's 5th Grade Class

Learning in order to Keep Moving Forward.

About Mrs. Panesko

This is my twenty-third year teaching 5th grade at Carnation Elementary. I enjoy this age group, and I like the challenge of preparing students for Middle School. My hope is that students leave my class with organization skills, and are prepared for the day to day pressure of 6th grade.

I am married, and have two kids, a girl and a boy. I spend my free time enjoying my kids. At 14 and 15 1/2 the kids are very independent and full of teenage angst. We have a lot of fun. My son will be a Freshman (9th Grade) at Cedarcrest High School and my daughter will be a Sophomore (10th grade) at Cedarcrest High School… where does the time go? This year we were lucky to navigate driver’s education with our daughter and will soon get to do that with our son.

My wish for you this year is that you will embrace your learning, and set a goal to do your very best.  Embrace the power of “Not Yet” and have courage to try hard things.

“People often ask me if I know the secret of success and if I could tell others how to make their dreams come true.  My answer is, you do it by working.” – Walt Disney

Your website is terrific! I have to come back when I have more time!

Send me a message to my work email. I’ve got a couple other questions.

    Mike.
