Camp Waskowitz: Evening Activities

We spent time with Mrs. Minaglia’s class having s’mores and participating in “Plastic Bag Theater.”

We learned more about latitude and longitude, and then found some Waypoints with our GPS machines here in camp.  Students had a good time, despite the ant hill they all reported finding.

Camp Waskowitz Day Two: Cedar River Watershed Field Trip

We had a busy morning taking our field trip within our Camp experience.  We visited the Cedar River Watershed.  This is a protected site by Seattle Public Utilities.  We were escorted by a docent from the Seattle Public Utilities.  The students had a wonderful time learning about where our water comes from.
